Sucks... first was good . Notified everything. Had 3 days video. .. but ,now nothing. Nothing . Nothing shows on timeliness. Dropped to 3 hrs of record time for some reason so miss everything . If it dies show up in notification you can't watching the video shows loading then goes away never even makes it to the time-line.. smdh
2/9/22 - Once was good. I have two cameras that used to work great. Now, they are constantly going offline and are not dependable. The timeline in the app does not record activity like it should. Lots of similar complaints. The company alleges interference. We've all had lots of electronics over the years, but never had issues with interference. Seems like a scapegoat. 2/9/22 - Canary, thank you for the quick response. I will go through the steps you suggested; however, I have removed and reconnected both canaries in the past a couple times over the last month, even as recently as a couple days ago. I have not removed and reinstalled the app. It seems the canaries ought to function separately from the app since they are feeding the data back to your servers. I will still try it. Thank you. 2/10/22 - Canary support asked me to power cycle and tell them what the LED showed. They responded telling me what the lights mean. The company, to my disappointment, offered no further recommended action. Still going offline ... 4/3/2022 - since my last post, I decided to really test whether it was interference or not so I connected one of the canaries right to the router via ethernet. It is still having connection issues. I give up on these things.
Have recently had problems with video freezing up without letting me watch it. Deletes kitchen and garage after 3 hours. Tells me I need to upgrade. I did upgrade when I renewed my canary contract, so I feel I was ripped off. I also have blink cameras that Haven given me ANY problems, are wireless and a clearer picture. Most likely will not renew with Canary. And now it won't do anything because it says there is problems connecting to server. None of my other apps show this!
It's incredibly annoying that the banner that says when a camera isn't online and to "fix" has been blocking the settings button. I used to be able to access the settings button even if it was offline and needed a fix. Now I can't even access the second camera! Change that notification back to the way it was a long while ago...which was not at the top of the screen. STOP BLOCKING THE SETTINGS BUTTON!!!!!!

Purchased this camera a few months ago without any issues. Connects to Wifi effortlessly. But now forwarding onto present day??? It disconnects itself without being able to reconnect itself back up again via the app. It disconnects instantly as soon as it detects motion. No issue getting connected, but doesn't have the ability to stay connected. Useless!!!
Canary is dead. The company. They email me with offers for 50% off services, yet I can't actually pay for the 50% off. As in the site to pay, the button doesn't function to give them my money. AND months later, I just tried to opt out of their emails, for 50% off, and I get an error 404 everytime I try to save the opt out changes. Canary is dead. No one is working there. Nothing works in their app, on their site, anything. Maybe they have a skeleton crew keeping the lights on, but it's clear.
Unable to delete app
So far so good. Camera takes good video and notifies me of any activity in the room. I have a nosy sibling who likes to sneek in my room so I got the camera for that plus to check on my cat. After being notified a bunch of my cats movement I put a mask on certain parts of the room. The only thing I would like to change or figure out is to get my camera to record automatically whenever I leave my room because it only records when I leave the house. I know I can manually do it but I'd like to auto
